I need to install a circuit for a window a/c unit that is 18,000 Btu's. It's going in a second floor apartment. So I would have to run about 25' to service panel. Can anyone tell me what size wire I should use and how many?

Need to know what voltage the unit needs. This will be in the manufacturers instructions, and on the nameplate, which will also tell you what size circuit is needed.
