My ex-boy friend has filed for temporary custody of my daughter, but as of right now she's been staying with me. He has been very verbally abusive and leaving harassing phone messages. Recently the cops stopped by my mother's house stating they have a orders for temporary custody of my daughter. What should I do? I am worried for the safety of my child, he's involved in illegal activity and I do not want my daughter in that environment.

If there are temporary orders from the court then your going to have to honor them. If he is a danger to the child you can bring that up at the hearing. Have you seen or been served any paperwork from the courts? What does it say if you saw anything?
