Why is the position of Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum is near to the Nucleus?
So the mRNA produced by the nucleolus can be taken in by the ribosome as soon as possible. If it wasn't the rna would be floating around for a while so any chemical reaction that needed to take place immedialty would fail. e.g. neurotransmitters
