Removing shower heads and replacing them
I have an old shower head that needs to be replace but don't know how to go about doing it. It does not look like one that I can remove at the head of the shower but one that it looks like I would have to remove it from the base of the shower wall if that all makes sense.

    Help.

As a rule shower heads have female threads that thread into a chrome shower arm. Put a wrench on the shower head and back it out counterclockwise. If the shower arm comes too then let it. It can always be reconnected. Don't forget to use Teflon Tape on the threads when you put everything back. Good luck, Tom
