    The tractor has a kawasaki engine and it will backfire when trying to re start warm

    I also noticed that if you boost start the tractor it will start fine

    Is it backfiring through the exhaust or the intake?

    Both,this happened after I replaced a faflty ignitor

    Hi,
    Often a bad coil or ignitor will also take out the other. For some models of that engine, you can replace both with a single piece coil that contains both. The flywheel part number needs to be the same, I believe.
