Myself and my partner have been trying for a baby since sept 09, each month goes by and we are not pregnant. My period is due tues coming, since yest afternoon I have had light discharge, startd off pale pink, turning into red late last night and today brownish in colour. I have no cramps. Don't no what to think, any suggestions?xx

Probably not. You should have every medical problem ruled out before you keep trying so you don't get burned out. Many things including a low sperm count or a hypothroid can cause problems getting pregnant.

If you've been trying for 9m without success, you should consider scheduling a "preconception appointment" with your OB/GYN. Its meant to discuss fertility and general wellbeing before trying for baby. You might find it very useful and he/she might be able to explain your spotting. GL!
