I am a 26year old female who was just diagnosed with a pineal cyst in the center of my brain (1.3cm) . I have been experiencing severe headaches, fatigue and vision problems. I am told that this is nothing to do with my condition and what's causing these symptms is iron deficency. I have been taking iron supplements for 2 motnhs now to no avail. My doctor has stated in 4 months I will need another MRI to check the size of the cyst. I want to know if this cyst is causing my symptoms and what can I do to prevent any adverse reactions. Also, what are the risks of this cyst rupturing? I have a 2 year old daughter that I do not want growing up without her mother. Thank you for your help.
