My husband an I are trying for a baby, I am now 17 days late. I've taken a few tests and they all came out negative, also one urine test at the dr's and it was negative to. The only time I've missed periods was when I was pregnant. So has anyone else had this problem? And still turned up pregnant?

This does happen sometimes. You could ask your doctor about a blood test to actually check for the hcg level. Some would want you to wait and see if you miss two periods as once in awhile a period can be skipped for no apparent reason.

Your period could just be off this cycle as well. See what happens when your period is due next month if it doesn't happen to just show up late this time.

I know the waiting can be hard, so you could try one or two more urine tests on your own as you wait. Good luck!
