Hey guys, it's me again. Just wondering if there is a certain height to place a light switch and outlets? Thanks again guys:)

Normal height for outlets, except for kitchen and bathroom is 14''.

The normal height for switch is 48''.

This I believe is not a die hard rule.

I have switch controlled outlet in same box at 66'' in my utility room. Also have my emergency shut off switch for furnace at 60''.
