My water heater resssure relief valve leaks a little bit of water when the burner turns on to heat the water. What's the problem. Thanks

Is this a new installation or an old installation... if old, how old? Do you have an expansion tank installed at the water heater? How about a lawn sprinkler system... is that present at your home?
