    My water heater leaks about 1/2 once of water every time the burner turns on to heat the water. It leaks form the pressure relief valve. What the problem. Thanks

    Is this a new installation or an old installation... if old, how old? Do you have an expansion tank installed at the water heater? How about a lawn sprinkler system... is that present at your home?

    At this point I would definitely replace the T&P valve even if it was not at fault. Once they open and close they are never trusted completely. Answer mass's questions but also tell us your psi and water temp.
