I am 22 years old and sexually active. I am not pregnant, and I haven't had my period in 6 months. This normally happens I have and irregular period.
I started spoting about 2 weeks ago just little spots of blood, so I thought my period was coming. Then it stopped. Then started, and then stopped again. Now its coming out a lot like a really heavy flow. All together it has been going on for about 3 weeks. I mean I thought a period is supposed to last 1 week. I feel no pain just minor cramps and a little anxiety. Probably cause I am worried... anybody know if this is normal?

Has anything been discussed with your doctor about having the irregular periods? No period for six months, and then continued bleeding, should have course be discussed with your doctor.
Your being irregular may be the norm for you, but since you have not had a "period" like this before, it is not normal.
It may be something very simple that can be easily sorted out, so do make an appointment to see your doctor.

You should ask your doctor about birth control pills, it works it helps you to have regular periods. Good luck
