Can I ask how long its been since your breakup with your last boyfriend?

If its been in the last 3 months, chances are your not over the old relationship yet,perhaps you rushed into a new relationship too soon?

Personally I don't think you should tell your boyfriend that you are still in love with your ex-- that would crush him completely and would cause unwanted drama.

What I think you should to is tell your boyfriend that you want to slow down and go back or be friends to get to know each other, because you feel like you just got out of one relationship and it wouldn't be fair to just jump to the next one. I wouldn't ever mention the whole "I'm still in love with my ex" only because it would just be a nasty mess right there.

I think you need to take a little time off from dating and just enjoy the single life. Give yourself time to fully get rid of the "ex" feelings. I think we've all had feelings like this surface, but when they bother you as much as they do, it is probably best to separate yourself from dating at the moment.
