Will code rule allow add'g eor ceiling light to GFCI outlet 4 box circuit?
I have a receptical circuit with 4 outlets and the 1st has GFCI protection for all following. Does code allow me to add a ceiling light with a wall switch at the end of the run; or are there othere reasons to preclude this install?

Yes you can add a light to a GFI protected circuit.

Yep you can do it but we usually try to keep lights and outlets on separate circuits so you have light when you trip your outlet breaker
