Can I be arrested if I missed court date. Notice was taped to front door.
I lost my job over 7 months ago. I owe dues to the HOA. They are suing me. They also garnished my bank account and left me with $0. All of my checks bounced for my bills and lights and water were turned off for none payment. I get unemployment and can't live off that and pay HOA too. My house is now in foreclosure. I have not been staying in my house because it's unsanitary without water. I stopped by to pick up some belongings a week ago and found a court notice taped to the front door. The court date has already passed. Will I be arrested for missing court date? Please help me understand the court process. What can I do at this point. I'm alone, confused and basically have nothing left.

If it's civil (not criminal) you will not be arrested - a Judgment will be taken against you.
