    Plumbing questions
Dilemma: house on cement slab, hot floor under laminate flooring in kitchen. Water line is run from under kitchen sink to the washing machine, approx. 20 feet away. You can usually hear water running, but faucet is turned off. In the kitchen there is a fridge with ice maker and hook up, dishwasher next to that, gas water heater in kitchen also. Kitchen floor started to get hot approx 1 month ago. My son turned off the hot water from under the kitchen sink. Do I have a leak under the floor?

It sounds like you have a hot water line leaking, to make sure that you have a leak, close all the faucets in the house, go to your water meter see the image below check the triangle indicator if it moves you have a leak, also open the link below for more troubleshooting, good luck.
