My sewage ejector pump keeps tripping the circuit breaker.
My meyer ejector pump stopped working. When you hit the override button it comes on for about 15 seconds. Once the tank was drained the tech refiled the tank to see if the pump would come on and it didn't, nor did it come on when he pulled on one of the floater sensors. He said the pump must be bad but must take it out before he can verify. When talking to a Meyer rep, they said it sounds like a floater switch is bad. Because when he puts the sys in override the circuit breaker trips.

Yes, it can be floater switch but most likely it is the pump. At least that's my experience.

Have them both checked. If pump is shorting the system, replace it with new one.

Sounds like a shorted motor winding to me. Was it checked? Let me know, Tom

Yes they just got the pump out and said it was cracked... it's very corroded.

So they are taking it to the shop to wash it off and go from there but they are recommending that I replace it...
