    Mucusy stool's can indicate a number of things, intestinal parasites, colitis, could be a symptom of parvo, could also indicate a reaction to an ingredient in his dog food. Some times manufactures change the ingredients and quality, and some dogs develop allergies over time. How many mucusy poops has the dog had.

    Most common would be an irritation in his G.I track, but it could also be a pancreas issue (EPI). If your dog isn't producing enough enzymes it needs to digest his food, he will have greasy mucus stools.
