At 32 weeks is it normal to have a thick mucus discharge with a yellow tint . Its like a jelly type clot but not pink or brown? Do sex two days ago have anything to do with it? And last thing I'm also having funny pains in my inner thigh and pelvic some back pain and braxton hicks.

It could very well be your mucus plug or maybe just end of pregnancy discharge. The recent sex may or may not have played any role in it.

If it is the mucus plug it can sometimes be slightly off color, and it can also regenerate or come out in sections. So that fact that you may have lost the plug at 32 weeks is not necessarily a concern. That you may be having some backache and contractions would be more of something to keep an eye on.

Time the contractions... get plenty to drink, your uterus will often contract more if you are taking in enough fluids... lie down for awhile, or get something to eat. Changing activity will often cause Braxton Hicks to subside. If you notice you are having more than 4 or 5 contractions in an hour, let your doctor or midwife know. They will want you to get it checked out to determine whether it could be pre-term labor.
