Ask Me Help Desk - How can I make him want me back

[B]my ex boyfriend broke up with me 5 months ago, we were living together for 2 months and got on well, he had problems with emotions like he said he doesn't love any one, but I always believed he did love me. I still love him and haven't stopped thinking about him. I hadn't spoke to him for 4 months then 2 weeks ago I text him 2 c how he was. He text me back and wanted to see me I went round but he had cut his hand very bad so spent all day with him at hospital, he had 2 stay in but text me the following day saying thanks and he would c me soon. Last Saturday I went round again and we got on really well it was like when we were together he hugged me loads and I stayed the night he has been txtin me and calling me princess and sweetness like he used to and said he would see me soon. I don't know whether its worth asking him back or is he just using me for something to do?I really confused I want to be with him again. Any advice would be great

I would not push him, would not run after him, would not make excessive calls or texts to him, would not make myself so available that I am too available.

See if he continues to text you, call you, try to get a feel of what he really wants from you before making any decisions or ending up in the same place you were before. Ask him what he is really looking for. Is he using you for sex (are you using him for sex)? I see by your post that you spent the night and you two were not really back together yet.

Ask yourself if this is really love you feel or the need for physical intimacy and closeness?

I didn't go round for sex it just happened I just thout why not, I do love him and would do anything to be with him.

Don't sell yourself short,girlfriend. Sounds like he wants pity sex. After all that time,he got in touch when he was hurt? Try asking him to come to you for something,not sex, maybe unclog a sink or something.

Well all you need to do is ask him back if you want to and if he tries to play games with you say you isn't interested don't make him think you are bothered! :rolleyes:

You need to take a good look at what makes you feel that you love this person? Is it because you are holding onto something that you both had in the past? Are you holding onto the what if, but's?

Yes deep down you may still love this person and everything about them, but you also have to know that when a relationship ends there is normally a good reason ! You say that this person said that they never loved anybody, do you really want to be in a no love relationship... You really need to have a good long talk with this person, maybe go out as friends on a date and tell them the way you are feeling, but you also need to make sure that your not putting yourself into a situation where you are going to end up being hurt or used !

I'm not sure I'd ask him back at this point. It's hard to tell from this whether he's interested or just using you for something to do. Be a little aloof and not so available all the time. That'll elevate his interest level if there's any to begin with. Be busy with other activities that don't involve him so that you don't have so much time with which to obsess about him. Spend time with friends, both male and female. In order to make him want you you've got to make him chase you.

I had the same problem except in a shorter amount of time, my boyfriend broke up with me over messenger. He invited me over two days later. What you have to do if you REALLY want him back is to seem like you still want to talk to him but that even if you don't it won't really matter. When you go see him make sure you're wearing clothes that fit you perfectly without making it obvious that you're trying, and just not making your makeup formal and wearing your hair in a laid back, sexy way. Like for me I just wore a pair of jeans that makes my legs and bum look INCREDIBLE with a pretty shirt and flats, and then put my hair into loose waves. Make him think that you don't want to impress him. And if he starts trying things, make him wait to get them. My experience was my guy started feeding me grapes and he put them in front of his lips so that if I tried to get one he'd kiss me; so I just took the grape with my hand and ate it so he wouldn't be able to, little things like that to make sure he doesn't get exactly what he wants will drive him COMPLETELY insane over you, and will make you feel very powerful. My only two warnings are not to give him nothing, like after he becomes really desperate give him a little something and be really sweet with him then when he thinks he's going to get it again don't give it to him. My second warning is don't try making him jelous... it won't work. GOOD LUCK!!
