Ok-so I had unlicensed persons install Goodman heat/air system last October... first week of really using the air and its NOT blowing cold.. set at 78 and room temp has been at 84 ALL day.. WHAT do I need to KNOW to ask/tell these guys? Or should I call a licensed contractor?? :mad:

Good luck, Bad contractor plus Goodman equipment recipe for disaster. Are both the indoor and outdoor running? Is the air coming from the outdoor unit warm, is the big copper line sweeting?

Both are running,air from vents is warm, same temp when just the fan is on, and no sweat on copper line..

Can you hear if the compressor is running outside? Or just the fan?

The Unit is in the attic too...

I've read online that it could be a freon leak, compressor, capacitor charge.. im afraid I'm going to end up calling a local licensed contractor and paying out the yingyang to have it looked at and repaired on a Sunday.

Wait till Monday for a better price.
