Air conditioner will cool for a few minuets the compressor kicks off,fan stays running compressor won't come back on we turn aur off at thermostate and kicki breaker off, kick breaker back on and turn on at thermo and air comes back on runs for just a few min and then kicks off again and then we repeat,air will usually come on but will not cool for long brfore compressor kicks off

Have you had the fluid checked? If its low the pressure valve will turn it off to protect the compressor from burning up.

If it was a low pressure switch the fan would also shut off. When was the last time you cleaned your ac?
