I have been been bleeding since Feb. after having a sporatic period for last 5 yrs
I had a miscarriage 5 years ago and ever since then my period has been off. Up until last year it was very sporadic but when it did come it was normal. Last September it became normal like clockwork until February of this year when it started and never stopped. Most of the time it is not very heavy mostly light but then it will all of a sudden start passing large clots to where I am going through 4 pad within 2 hours then all of a sudden it will go super light again. At first I could tell when I was going to start passing clots because my lower back would hurt so bad I was almost in tears but in the last month it is just all of a sudden it will start happening. I only have about 7 days a month that I am not bleeding but I am too afraid not to wear anything because it will start again all of a sudden. The days are not consecutive either. It is more like 1 or 2 days here and there. I don't know if it is related or not but I also have a dull ache in my lower left pelvic area but that comes and goes for many years. It is more of an annoyance. I have also in the last 3 years started getting a lot of hair on my chin and some on my neck not sure if that is related or not.

Obviously it is time to see your doctor as there can be a number of possible reasons for unusual bleeding. Polyps, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, with the presence of facial hair as well possibly PCOS, etc..

Something's can be taken care of rather easily so it is well worth going in and getting checked out.
