    Condensind unit keeps popping breaker.
This is a Goodman unit that has worked fine till now. Just quit, traced it back to the panel circuit breaker. Replaced it thinking it was bad but popped again when power was applied. The contactor is working but I'm unable to check voltage. I have narrowed it down to 1. capacitor or 2. the contactor. Is there any way to know which one it is. Oh yeah, the top of the capacitor is not bubbled up so I assume it is good and there are no bugs in the contactor

A dead short in the high voltage part of the system, check the wire/wires that connect to the compressor, for good contact,, you could have a shorted compressor,, do you have and know how to use a multi-meter?, you could disconnect the hot wires that run from the compressor to the contactor and see if it still kicks the breaker

Yeah, I actually do have all the correct tools. I will give that a try.
