My ex-husband is in Mexico and owes me child support.
We were divorced. The court ordered him to pay child support. He's currently in Mexico. He doesn't have a green card, so he's stuck there. Is there any way I can get child support?

I am in doubt about it.
I really do not know a case where a father /living in Mx/ pays his ordered child support in full amount.

You would have to see if Mexican law has a reciprocal arrangement to honor US support orders. Otherwise you can't compel him to pay.

According to Hague Conventions relating to maintenance obligations and of the American Convention on the Recovery Abroad of Maintenance, you have right to receive child support but the amount will depend of his current income.

No. The Mexican law sees American support orders as undue hardship. It is understandable. No one can pay $ 600 child support where he gets $ 400 as a salary.
