    Cat with new-born question! Help!
My cat will not stay with her new born kittens! (12 hours old)

She rather follow us around. (More then usual)

She'll go see them every so often for a really brief time.

Should we be worried?? We made sure they're warm, but

That's all we think can be done!

Anyone know what's wrong with her?

She may just no be a natural mother. Often times when a mother feline is too young, they have little maternal instinct because they are still kittens themselves. Encourage her by staying with her while she is with the kittens. If this doesn't work, you need to start bottle feeding them before they die from hypoglycemia and dehydration. You will also have to stimulate them to urinate and deficate by rubbing their rearend with a most cotton ball. It isn't pleasant but if she isn't doing it by licking them and doesn't know how, then its up to you till either she gets a clue or you raise them to be old enough to function on their own.
    Good Luck!

Thanks a lot! Before I got to read your answer, we actually started encouraging her to stay with them, and now she's always with them! Not too sure if she's encouraging them to do their ''business'' though... gotta check that out!
