I Have a Watercolour painting by a P J Henry dating back to 1843.

That's nice, can you give us a picture, but first you say l943 and you say l843 ? We would normally advise that you take it to an art dealer so they can do a good visual to determine what it is worth, if anything. Determining a value here is near impossible as we can't see the material first hand.
