I am trying to find the children's movie, dated around the 1980's. It's about a boy that falls into a small stream and enters this fantasy world underwater. Later he comes back out of the water to return to the real world again.

I just read somewhere that it's called Waterbabies. I hope this helps out someone else who is trying to find this great movie.

It starts as a normal film then turns animated when the kid falls into the water.
