Hello:
I know when you buy the store brand peas, they're lesser quality than Hunts, for instance. But, is the store branded milk any less quality than the branded milk? I mean, it's milk for crying out loud.

I don't think so concerning milk, there are only so many final producers/packagers.
I don't agree with your discounting of store brands though it may be a localized issue. Here in Canada I would rather buy the Loblaw's President's Choice brand than a comparable national brand.
Honestly, just because it has a different name does not necessarily mean it is of less value.
A lot of the times the same is produced in the same factory but the only difference is the labels put on them or the container is different.
Hello from your southern neighbor:
Thanks fellas. I don't know where I got that idea... I'm waiting to hear from CB, though. She knows about this kind of stuff.

I always buy the store brand except for Ketchup and OJ, unless of course there is a leading brand for less money.
Milk, cream, whipping cream, ice cream and eggs, always store brand:)
I think they are just as good, sometimes better.
