I have this oil painting that my family had aquired about 41 years ago from a woman in upsate NY/Rochester area. This woman had an extensive collection of antiques and alot of her items were donated to a museum apoun her death. I was told 40 years ago that this painting was worth money, I have had this stored for years and I am trying very hard to figure out who had painted this and when.
It does need to be cleaned.
If anyone could even tell me a guess at a time period in which this was painted that would atleast be a start in some direction to find the artists name.
The artist did not sign it and one appraiser asked for a photo of the back of it??? There is nothing on the back side, just a a blank backside of the canvas.
Any help would be very appreciated.<BR>
