In a time of need (divorce) I was given 15,000 by my mother that said do what you need with it don't worry about paying me back. Now 15 yrs later she wants to buy a condo for her and her girlfriend and wants to be paid emediately. I did not plan for this and I am helping a daughter financially right now. She said she will take me to court if I don't. What can I expect in court?

Not too much. An oral agreement does help when I am sure both sides will say different. A judge will likely listen to your side a bit more since no money has been paid for 15 years. SOL on a person debt runs 3-4 years but varies state to state. Where do you live?
