    I am upset! Now what?
Moved to its own thread, and edited.

Me and my girlfriend have been together 3 years, and I have asked her if she would like to get married, or have children in the future, she is 20 and I am 22, she said she doesn't know, but sounds like she doesn't want any, what do I do? I feel very upset.

You do nothing, because she may be too young right now, to even imagine such a life changing event.

Drop the subject, and enjoy your youth.

You two are still very young. What's the rush?

I just feel like if I stay with her till say I'm 30 years old, and she is 28 and if she still doesn't want to get married or have children I have wasted my life, because I think I do want to get married and possibly have kids

Do I need to break up with her now if I want kids or marridge?

    I really love her

Well, if your relationship can withstand the test of time, then you guys will likely get married in the future. I'm not so sure about the parts regarding the kids. Nevertheless, if you guys withstand the test of time, get married, then I'm sure you guys can talk about having kids right before getting married. Then you can make that decision. Perhaps she needs to grow a little bit older in order to figure out exactly what she wants in terms of kids.

Relax guy, worry about getting to the end of the next month, because who knows what will happen in 8 or 10 years.

You should be enjoying yourself, and not trying to rush a commitment, and babies right now.

If anyone had mentioned marriage and babies to me at 20, I would have ran for the hills.

She's young. She's probably still in college or just settling on a career. Bringing up the harsh reality right now is not a good idea.

Will she change her mind. Probably. I'm 39 now, married for 15 years with 2 kids. At 20 I would have said no way to any of that.

I guess that makes sense. I'm not sure what the conversion is for those measurements, but if you're concerned about her only because of health reasons, I'm sure she understands.

In the end it's her decision. If it's something she really wants, and has asked for your help, then by all means, help her.

If she hasn't asked for your help, weight can be a touchy subject for women. She may start to feel unattractive to you, or not good enough for you. Just be careful how you say things. We gals can be a bit sensitive when it comes to our weight. ;)

    You're welcome.

No, that picture isn't me. It's just a picture I found on the internet. When I modeled way back when I had a very similar picture taken, so this picture really appealed to me. Reminds me of the old days, when I was a lot younger. :)

It's hard to leave your family, but if this is your dream, you're an adult, so go for it.

Don't move just to be with her, do it only if this is something you really want for yourself.

I'm sure your family will miss you, but they'll understand. :)

Just ignore him. I've reported him to the mods, many times. As soon as one of them comes on line he'll either have the majority of his posts removed and he'll be warned, or he'll be banned.

He'll continue to post wherever I do. Sadly people like this don't really have anything better to do. He'll be gone soon. :)

Life is way too short for people like him. Hopefully he'll grow up one day and start acting like a man instead of a child. We can only hope.

I did answer your last question, you may have missed it with the page change. Just go one page back. ;)

If there's anything else you'd like to ask, feel free. :)
