I believe it was hosted by a white girl with blonde hair and her name started with an X. they would sing and dance and the show came on around the time bozo the clown aired too

The only show I can think of is The Mickey Mouse Club, there was one in the UK which starred Lena Zavaroni, but I don't know the name of it, Hope this helps.
