I'm Having Trouble Drawing My Thoughts
So, I get these rally cool things all drawn up in my head, but I can't get them on the paper for everyone else to see, and it really annoys me because I know I can draw I just can't get it on the paper. I'm currently taking art and I don't like it. I like art but is there a book I should read or something because I want to be able to so people what I can do.

    Hi, ShawnKG5!

What sort of things are you trying to draw and what are the mediums that you would like to use, please?

Anything like this is going to take practice. Even the best artists of various kinds threw away many works and started them over before arriving at one in which they might be satisfied.

    Thanks!

I'm trying to draw people and other stuff like that. Like a female because in art all I learned was how to do the head. I can have a drawng in my head and look awesome.

Is it proportion of the other parts that you're having a problem with? If you can draw a head with facial features, I presume that you're able to go into some detail in the drawings.

What we used to do was find a picture in a magazine of someone and cut it down the middle and then finish the other side yourself. If you get books you will learn little tricks like how many heads a body is high and things like that which will really help you. And take your time. Sometimes the magazines stretch a body out. But you have to learn, really any drawing will help you grow better each time you do it. Just like writing a book you have to put it on paper before you can change it if it is not right. So keep drawing!! Good Luck!
