How do I get custody of my niece if I am her aunt and both of her previous "legal guardians" have passed away and she wants to live with me? She is 10 years old and I would love to take over legal guardianship!

Is there any other relative that wants her? If not, have her live with you, and apply for guardianship or adoption in Family Court.

Where "physically" is she now ? After the last guardian died, who took control of the child ? Have you went to court or have you talked to children servies about this
