I have been paying child support for years to find out that my exwife collected public aid while married to me without my knowledge .What legal steps can I take to remove this debt from me ?

What debt ? Child support, sorry her collecting public aid has nothing to do with you owing child support, so that debt remains.

Exwife was living with me and collecting public assistance without my knowledge and hiding the funds .

Yes

Wait, your ex was living with you or the two of you were married and living together? It does make a difference. If the two of you were married and she was able to collect assistance it meant that your household qualified for it. Your income at the time was also calculated in when she applied for it. What type of assistance did she get?
