Car ran fine shut it off and let sit over night and now will not start. Car turns over and I can hear the fuel pump. Shorted plug wire and I get spark. Just don't know what to try next. In my ford I can check the flashes on the check engen soon lite to find errors how about a 96 regal? Help and thanks

. Replace the Ignition Control Module, if the problem persists. You may have spark but it's not firing when the ECM wants it to. The microchip inside has likely failed--common problem. This link should help:
