    Cold Feet
My feet are cold. I am wearing socks and shoes but they are just so cold. And I am so bored... Any creative tips on how to warm up my feet?:D

Try 2 pairs of socks, (I always wanted to give a smart a$$ comment) sorry!!

    Just kidding.

Try rubbing them to get the circulation going again. But a hot bath really does wonders.

What happens in these cold temps is that your body keeps the warmth for your vital organs. It stops or slows the blood flow to your extremities. So, vigorous rubbing or massaging will help restore blood flow to the extremities. A hot bath will help do the same thing.

Literally LOL, my coworker thinks I am a dork... no seriously he does... he is 2 feet away from me and just sent me an instant message saying that I am... Umm yes, we have a rather boring job!

But umm yeah wonderful advice I am sure it would do wonders... but I don't think I am that flexible... maybe some warm up stretching will help

Some hot pepper (capsaisin) sprinkled in your shoes would do it too but I have to warn you it makes pink socks out of white ones and your feet smell like chili! LOL So maybe a llttle Bengay rub instead?

School is HARD, much harder than I ever expected. We had a test on Thursday, then another one will be on Monday and our comprehensive final on Wednesday. All for ONE class!! Well after Wednesday we will be off for a month and then we start our psychology rotation. This last one was geriatrics. Oh, how I never want to get old. I wish I could stay 42 forever!!

Install a wood burning stove in your basement.

Cold wood floors (and even cold carpet floors) can suck the heat right out of your feet. On the contrary, warm floors can put the heat right back in.

    HOT WATER BOTTLE.

Seriously... when you are bone cold a hot water bottle can warm up your feet faster than anything. My wife can spend hours with blankets and her special fuzzy warm socks.. sometimes ten minutes with the warm hot water bottle is the only thing that works.

Dad said back in his day, he lived in an old house with cracks in the walls, they slept with a hot brick in the covers to assist in keeping warm.

A warm wife is an excellent way to warm a cold foot too. (hahahaha)

HA HA. I'm not laughing because I live in Florida, it gets below 32 in the northern parts of the state. Funny because my dad (when we lived in NY) would always say about the cold weather-
Keep your feet (socks & boots) warm & dry & your chest warm. Must have been that navy influence! But my feet are unusually cold till I put on thick socks & sometimes boots. Oh how they have complimented me on my socks though! Then dorsiflex & plantarflex your feet when sitting still. (that means point toes up toward calf then down towards floor) Don't get a charliehorse about it, just keep the feet moving. It should work till you can get in an xtra warm tub & raise your body temp. some more. That should work. And get a thick boot if you don't have them.
    Keep warm!

Try jump jacks to get your blood flowing.
