The green a/c light blinks occasionally & blows hot air on my 1997 Toyota tercel. What could cause this & can it be easily repaired? Could this problem cause the check engine light to come on?

Easy fixes on a 13 year ac unit are rare. Best bet is to go to Toyota and ask them to give you a repair estimate,then go to 2 other places and see how they stack up.
