I'm an american soldier who had a baby with a philippine women. She gave birth to our child and left the PI seven days later. She returned to japan where we continued our relationship. She returned to see our child 6 months later and stayed 10 days and returned again to Japan. We both went to see our child after she turned one. The mother has not return to see her in almost 2 years. We split and she is now married and has another baby in Japan. Can I get custody of my child if I continue to support my child financially, and send clothing and all other needs while the mother does nothing. The child is leaving with the grandmother.

If you want custody of your child you have to FILE for custody in the Philippines. I'm sure a Base Attorney can help you or else you will need a private Attorney.
