    Hi Gboy:

    I'm sorry to say that we don't have any New York plumbers here, but I do know that each state has its own test arrangement for gas piping... especially for a 3" gas main.

    Most likely, for a commercial application the test will need 10 pounds per square inch held for 24 hours, but you'll need to call a local plumbing inspector and ask him to be sure... O.K?

    That's a big gas pipe... you guys pulling a permit on this?
