I am on probation and have been taking random weekly EtG urine analysis tests. My probation officer is allowing me to go out of state on vacation for a couple of weeks in June and indicated I did not have to test on vacation. She told me there was a test she could give me when I get back. What kind of alcohol test would she be talking about that would test for two full weeks prior?

Do you intend to drink alcohol while on vacation? Are you trying to find out what the test will be in order to "beat" it?

It's called "cross your heart and hope to die". But, as Judy noted, it seems to me you're telegraphing your punches here.

No I just thought an EtG was the most effective test but it only tests for the last 80 hours...

I don't want to have to pay a bunch of money for a different test when I offered to EtG test on vacation and found a place to do so.

You are referring to urine analysis with EtG. Now available is hair analysis using EtG as a biomarker. If we are to believe the literature the hair analysis can sequence consumption over a period of 90 days.

I know there is a hair test but looking at the price of it, I cannot afford that.

It's actually not a fun vacation. It's a place I'm thinking about moving and I will be looking for jobs and checking things out. I'm suppose to be on probation for another 7 months and was told I may be let off in July since I have taken care of everything. I have paid my court fines and want to avoid any future unnecessary fees.

And would like to avoid getting my hair chopped off...

They take a strand or two, they don't chop off your hair.

Interesting story - someone in my area decided to beat the hair follicle test by shaving his head. They used pubic hair.
