For the past year, I have had a clogged pulsing/ringing sound in my left ear. It is in sync with my heartbeat and has made it difficult to hear in my left ear. Layign on it or taking a shower does not help the noise go away. It's driving me insane! Can somebody help me? Thank you!

Have you asked your doctor to look inside? There might be a hunk of wax inside that's pressing against your eardrum. You might have tinnitus. Only your doctor can help you figure this out, and he may have to send you to a specialist.
