Hi Tom, Yes I did receive it. I was away on vacation and just got back. I do have a couple of questions. There is going to be a shower to the right of the toilet that I did not see on the drain layout, but the bigger question is what is the minimum walk space that I can use between the shower and the toilet. I do not have a ton of space and the way that I have this, the toilet will be in the path to and from the shower. It appears that I will have 18" of clear path. Thanks again for all your help! I just want to do this right the first time.

Hi Tom, I did look at that shower unit but it really does not work for me. There is a 36X36 alcove (the upper right hand side of the drawing) that a stall will fit into perfectly. I think I may have figured this out. I am going to push the toilet back a foot into the adjoining closet and then I will have a minimum of 24 inches as a path. I believe that will be enough of a path. Do you agree?

I was having difficulty in sizing the drawing but this is as good as I can get it,(I'm a computer dummy when it comes to resizing attachments) I delteted the urinal as redundant and unnecessary since you already have a toilet. Adding the urinal would make you run another vent and unless you just have to have it leave it out. The pipe running out of the side of the pit is the dedicated vent out the roof. Hi Tom, I really appreciate all your help with this. I have a quick question. Is there a minimum distance that the 2" sink drain needs to be from where the toilet connects? I remember hearing somewhere that the toilet can suck the water out of the sink trap. I just was not sure if there was a set distance that the drain tie in should be down stream from the toilet. Thanks again!

While a toilet can vacume the trap seal out of a unvented fixture your lavatory's vented and the shower's wet vented so not to worry. Do you agree the urinal should be left out? Regards, Tom

Hi Tom, Actually my better half shot down the urinal anyway. (she was told some horror stories about the mess these usually have). The only reason I was going to use it, was most of the people that hang out in the basement rec room are guys that tend to like beer.

Perhaps we better figure in a trough urinal**OR** To cut down on expenses you could enclose the toilet and make it a pay-potty. You could also charge for the beer and git-em coming n' going. Sorry sport! Just having a little fun. Cheers, Tom
