There is a movie. I remember one of the characters name. It was lloyd.
Lloyd had worked for the government. The place where he worked was underground so he survived when the whole city had been wiped out by aliens. He returns to the place with two companions. While on the trip there he stops at a convenient store to buy a bottle of wine, the wine was on sale and he buys three of them. Lloyd gets killed when they get to the city, out in a desert, by getting shot. At the end of the movie, his companion gets killed while in a dumpster. It appeared to be an 80`s movie...
