How do one deal with a court judgement being passed without ones knowledge

If you were not served, you may go back to the court and ask that the judgment be set aside for lack of proper service. Then you'll be served and you'll have a chance to defend yourself...

But, if you have no defense, the judgment will be rendered anyway, and you won't be ahead.
