I'm happy that I have a place to stay but I don't want any foster kid have to go through what I have been through my older sister ran away from my foster mom she has been gone for almost 4 months. Me and my twin really want to get adopted but cps won't do anything to help. Can I leave a 17 if I don't get adopted?

No you will have to stay till you are 18.

Is your status one that allows you to be adopted, merely being in foster care does not mean you can be adopted.
Are there any family members that may want you to live with them ?

But most people will not want to adopt a 17 year old for many reasons

Agree with FrChuck - are you eligible for adoption, both parents having given up their rights (or having had their rights taken away)?

What State? If you are self-supporting and have your own apartment you can file to be emancipated. Will it take a year or so? Very possibly so that might not make sense.
