I just purchased a new compressor last year. Seems like my air is not cooling. What could the problem be? Do we need to get the a/c serviced every year?

Like many systems,A/C units can have minor leaks,small seals that fail,etc.

Our system was serviced last year for a charge(coolant), it needed another charge this year too.Cars have this almost on an annual basis,home units are no different.

A ac system, should not have a leak, if it does it needs to be repaired or replace. If it was just installed last year, it should still be under warranty.
