    Shallow well pump pressure tank
Pump holds prime and found no leaks but after a few times we run the water or flush the toilet we lose water pressure and eventually lose water completely. Pump has a reset button and when we push that water returns but after each flush or two we have to keep hitting the reset button. We have to go up a hill with a hose about 125 ft to travel trailer. Tried everything any suggestions or answers. Use a 1/2hp leader pump

Sounds like pump is over heating. Why would it do that? Is pump shutting off properly?

    Don't understand that statement.

I'd call the pump manufacturer and see if you can find out why the reset button is tripping. Or, if you will post the make/model of the pump, we might be able to find that on the web. I think HK is on the right track here. It is probably a thermal protection circuit of some sort that is turning off the pump when it overheats.
