For starters calm down as everyone that starting is in the same situation.
    There's nothing to worry about.

This is something we all have been through and all of the freshmen coming in are feeling the same way.
Whenever you are about to face something new, there will be anxiety. You will survive though. September is a while away, enjoy your summer.
    Good luck.

The main thing I worried about was getting lost and having to ask for directions. We had only ten minutes between classes and three floors to negotiate. Do you have a map of the school? Do you know which classes you will have and where each will meet?

(Most of the freshmen will be getting lost and asking for directions the first week.)

Hi.. I would be a little scared too, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. Fact is you will love High School and even though you have good friends now , you'll probably make new friends. Gosh.. I wish I could relive my High School days. The only thing I would change... I would study harder. You have a wonderful summer and you'll see when September rolls around you'll be glad to start a new phase of your life.

A large school is daunting at first.. I remember my youngest daughter dreaded going to this huge High School... but she loved it. She graduated College two weeks ago and she was so happy... I asked each one of my children which part of school they liked best... High School.
Be sweet, study hard and you'll do fine... Kit

If you can, go to the school before school starts (like week or so before) and walk through your schedule a few times so that you know where all your classes are located and get to know the layout of the school a bit better way. (My kids' school gave us a map and we went through that a few times and then a couple of times before school started.) So, getting lost wasn't such a big issue. Second tip is be nice to everyone and say hello, pretty soon you will have all sorts of people to talk to. Other great way to meet new people and help "fit in" is to join a sport or club. And keep in mind that if an upper classman if is making fun of or picking on the "freshman" it is probably because they were picked on. It's not you... it's THEIR issue.
